Fred received a Bachelor of Science degree from the U. S. Merchant Marine Academy. He received a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting from Tulane University. Fred is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) with the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Fred is licensed with the Florida Department of Insurance to sell health, life and variable annuity products. He also holds a Series 65 and Series 6 license with the NASD.

Fred has over 27 years of diverse business experience. Fred began his business career in private industry, including positions as a cost accountant, financial analyst, and corporate controller.

Fred began his public accounting career with a national "Big 6" CPA firm in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1985. Fred has more than 20 years of continuous public accounting experience with national, regional and local CPA firms. His experience with four different CPA firms covers a wide range of industries. Fred is the firm's tax partner and is responsible for various tax compliance and planning services.

Fred is the holder of the appellation "Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)", an accreditation that recognizes special training and qualification in business valuation and adherence to standards established by the National Association of Valuation Analysts. Fred's twelve years of valuation experience is comprehensive, including experience with several types of valuation engagements. Fred has performed valuations for mergers and acquisitions, sales and purchases of businesses, estate and gift tax valuations, marital dissolution and mediation proceedings, eminent domain condemnation and annual ESOP valuations. Industries served include real estate developers and management companies, manufacturers, retail/wholesale businesses, restaurants, food distributors, tourist attractions, medical groups, educational institutions and car dealerships.

Fred is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida, and the National Association of Valuation Analysts.
